GNC Associate International Brand and Category Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Associate International Brand and Category Manager is responsible for executing brand management and merchandising activities to support the international success of assigned brands and product categories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gain a thorough understanding of GNC's priority brands, categories, products and international market's needs. Brand management support:o Participate in the development of brands and products intended to be sold internationally.o Ensure international plans for GNC branded products comply with global brand criteria.o Educate internal stakeholders and international partners about priority brands and products.o Develop engaging brand/product educational materials and presentations.o Present brands and products in compelling ways that will strengthen global brand awareness and product sales.o Support setting goals and tracking international success of assigned brands.o Participate in international brand launch planning for assigned brands and markets. Merchandising support:o Participate in the development and maintenance of GNC's international product assortment, including GNC owned brand and third party products.o Provide guidance to support international merchandising efforts including brand and product positioning, retail pricing, launch plans, promotional plans and visual merchandising.o Support promotional plans for assigned categories and products.o Support 3rd party product management, international sales and merchandising plans. Communicate with international partners regarding brand and merchandising related topics. Collaborate with GNC International Business Development, Marketing, Operations and Wholesale teams to align on brand, assortment and merchandising strategies.

Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred 5+ years post-collegiate work experience preferred. Relevant areas include but are not limited to: Retail, Nutrition, Brand Management, Merchandising, Marketing, and Communications High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to work overtime as necessary
